Marcus Bailey

Marcus Bailey is a singer/songwriter and recording artist born in Columbus, Ohio. In 2019 he moved to Chicago, IL to pursue his dream in music and to attend Columbia College Chicago, where he graduated with a major in CJP Bmus in May of 2023. While at Columbia, Marcus was able to study under some of the industry's top individuals. With the help of his mentors, Nicholas Tremulis and Typhanie Monique-Coller, Marcus began to better understand his sound as a musician and grow as a songwriter and vocalist. His music falls under many genres like Folk, Pop and Singer-Songwriter. His influences range from the likes of Ed Sheeran and Stevie Wonder to Chris Stapleton and Elton John. Marcus uses his music to help understand the many ups and downs of life and what those emotions mean. He hopes to give listeners something to relate to and also to help in their own understanding of life. His debut EP “In The End” released in May of 2025 and is currently working on a new project for 2026!
